Hi,
I am conducting a load calculation for modified commercial 277/480v-800A service in an existing, recently remodeled factory that has imported new motorized equipment's.

MY question is,
Do I have to include or add some allowance as power factor for the old motorized machines in the factory?

like this;
existing motorized machines= 20000VA

therefore, 20000VA x 1.2= 24000 VA

Not required. The effect of inherent power factor of an equipment is included in its KVA rating.
