I see the problem, but how do you fix it?
Actually, it appears as if you are grasping the problem (literally).
The fuse is correct. Bussing is wrong.
40 years ago, when I was an apprentice, it seems they had a tool for stretching wire when it was too short. Might work in this instance. I think it was made by Greenlee.

Perhaps it was bussed for a type "T" Fuse. Shorter bolt holes.
I am holding a 600 amp "T".
Who made that gear?
I could make that fit with a grinder and a unibit and a hammer and a little duct tape. Minimal duct tape even!
I'm sure any of us could drill to fit, but do we really want to do that with new gear?
Lean on your CH supplier to come fix it themselves and keep the libility off yourself!
