I'm in a project where the bus duct system was designed to be terminated at the LV switch-gear, the fabrication details show the bus duct routing crossing above the whole unit substation includes switch-gear as well as the transformer and the RMU while maintains only 400mm clearance from BOD to the units, is there any code issue for that installation?

The bus duct is plug-in type feeding some DPs through the switchgear.
I really appreciate your feedback.

It is hard to understand the installed conditions. 15" of clearance from the plug-in units to the SWGR / transformer, is only an issue if you violate working clearances or the heat rise from the transformer changes the "ambient" temperature that the busway needs to operate.

Hard to visualize your application.

Due to the site condition The bus duct crossing above the whole substation & maintains 400mm distance to the substation.

110.26(E)(1)(A) applies here?
It is my understanding that the restriction applies only to equipment foreign to the electrical installation.
Sounds like very poor design, but no a violation, IMO.
