A few questions:

• Can’t the relay and output module be one device like a dual input module or are they usually two separate?
• The relay says non addressable but this is an addressable system. That doesn’t make sense.
• Doesn’t the module and/or relay need its own 24v power separate from the data loop for duct detector?

The non-addressable relay is an isolation relay, PAM-2 or MR-101/C relay that separates the 120VAC that powers the smoke/fire dampers from the addressable fire alarm SLC loop.
Most addressable relays have a low contact rating, .5A at 120VAC so the isolation relay makes up for the difference.

And yes the isolation relay needs a 24VDC power source that you switch with the addressable relay. You are going to want to use the closed relay and have the isolation relay normally energized so it is fail safe.

My FA vendor only quoting a TRI-R(single input relay) and no other modules. Does not seem correct to as I need control module too. Trying to get a hold of him to question.

For resistive loads, the TRI-R can handle 4 amps at either 125VAC or 30VDC. Inductive loads depend on the power factor. Is the damper set up as power to open or power to close? Is power coming from the fire alarm panel or another party?

Not sure if power is setup to open or close damper but it is getting 120v power from branch panel board.

If that's the case, the TRI-R can almost certainly handle the full current without an interposing relay. Smoke damper motors don't pull a lot of current, especially at 120VAC. I looked at a Belimo FSLF120 and it has 18VA running, 6.5VA holding and 27VA end stop, fused with a 0.25A slo-blow. It's powered open, spring return.

If the approved drawings show an interposing relay you will have to get the engineer to sign off on dropping that, otherwise that's what you'll have to do.
