iam looking for a clearer rule on wireway fill in regards to 30 conductors! i have a 12"x12"x6' wireway with approx 60 3/4" conduit entries and am concerned about the # of conductors we will have! any thoughts

Jeff,
You should have no problem with wire fill as 568 #6 THWNs will fit in the 12x12 wireway per code. You will have to apply the ampacity adjustment factors from Table 310.15(B)(2)(a) for more than 30 current carrying conductors. This table requires the use of an adjustment factor of either 35% or 40%. Note that per 376.22 signaling or control conductors are not counted as current carrying conductors.
