okay guys, here's my question. i have a 20A ckt, load is just lighting but the problem is the when i compute for the voltage drop, it calls for me to put in a #6 cable. How do you install a #6 cable to a 20A CB?

Just splice a piece of #12 on the #6.
You could actually run a #12 to a jbox a short distance from the panel and change to #6 at that location. The circuit could start and end with smaller wire as long as the total resistance compensates for the VD.

Keep in mind the code doesn't say anything about voltage drops.They are only foot notes that suggest a limit.Nothing wrong in splicing #6 to # 12 in the panel.Just how bad would the voltage drop be in #12 or #10 a drop to 110 wouldn't bother me on lights only.Actually it be easier on the bulbs.
