my question is in regards to the wording in parentheses at the heading of the table. column C to be used in all cases except as otherwise permitted in note 3. Are the exceptions to using column C from 26 thru 61 and over, because they are for specific appliances(ranges),or is that just,for lack of better words,sloppy wording with the 15kw+1 for each range.Note 3 below is not as specific with its wording when it states all household cooking appliances rated more than 1.75 but not more than 8.75kw. Thank for a great way to ask questions.

I believe you are just over thinking it a bit.

Columns A and B are permitted to be used if the specific cooking appliances fall under note 3. Otherwise all calculations are based on Column C. In some cases, it allows a smaller demand.

I don't feel it has anything to do with the 26-61 and over calcs.
