Has anyone out there had expereance with marina wiring? The code is a little vague, can you use SOW cord under docks, or does it have to be type G

I have had some marina wiring experience and yes the code does permit sow under docks as a permanent method. You should read all of 555 and specifically 555.13(A)(2) (1) and (2). Also check your local codes to be sure. Her in Wash. we can still use 20 amp receptacles.Hope this helps some Joe
