Gas Pipe location

Could anyone please let me know that according to NEC, is it possible to "route the gas pipe through the electrical room?"
A fire rated enclosure will be provided.

refer to 110.26 (F) (1) for dedicated space and 110.26 inclusive for work space. The pipe may be in the electric room if it maintains the distances and locations required by this article.Each installation is unique. NFPA 54 section 3.3 does not appear to restrict the piping from these locations either.But I have an old edition.
