I was hoping that someone might be able to provide me with the horizontal clerances for metal signs when the line voltage is 7200v L to N and 12470v L to L (ac)per the NESC. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Barry

Re: Sign clerances?

Charlie,
I have a small electrical company that does residental and small commercial that in the next few years will become my full time job and sole income. But for now I am over a small municiple Electrical Co. with around 1700 cuetomers so I am tyhe power provider. We use the NEC and also OSHA for our guide lines but I am not that familiar with the NESC and was hoping for a little guidance.I have found that OSHA (k)(2)(i) says that you must maintain 10' plus the maximum sag and side swing of the conductor. I appreciate your in put and help I may just have to use OSHA guide lines since it is the greater of the two.
Thanks again,
Barry
