What is the 'service cunductors' is it the wire from the disconect at the meter can to the lighting panel or the cunductors that feed from the service drop to the disconect at the meter can?

Re: difference bettween service conductor

I checked your profile and you are a contractor, if you are asking this question I will assume electrical contractor.

Do you have a code book, you should.

Look up service conductors, service point, and service in article 100 Definitions.

Re: difference bettween service conductor

Service Conductors:

The conductors from the service point to the service disconnecting means
Feeder:

All circuit conductors between the serivce equipment, the source of a separately derived system, or other power supply source and the final branch-circuit overcurrent device.

Branch Circuit:

The circuit conductors between the final overcurrent device protection the circuit and the outlet(s).

All electrical systems have service conductors and branch circuits, but do not necessarily have to have any feeders. :)
