I need help in designing a circuit for installing one generator rated for 80 KW & 277/480. This will connect to a Generator Distribution Panel rated for 125amp/277-480/four wire/60Hz. There will be two sub-panels installed off the ATS with a rating of 60 amps and 40 amps. I was told not to bond the neutral at the generator, but rather inside the ATS.
Please advise.
Thanks

Re: Generator (80 KW), ATS, Transformer & Panel

If your generator is the only source of power
you would bond the neutral in the Generator,
If you are switching the neutral in the transfer switch you would bond the neutral in the generator.
Other than that, the generator would not be considered a separately derived system and the neutral should not be bonded again, since by code it should already be bonded at the service entrance.
