The SCR is definded as the short circuit current divided by the maximum demand load current at the point of common coupling (PCC).

The question is how to calculate the Load current given the monthly average energy consumption of 3.71 mwh that a residence draw from 200 kva, 4400v/120v, 6.1% impeadance, single phase transformer that feeds a total of 8 residences. Note the primary Isc is 1471 amps.

Would the load current by divided by 8 since there are 8 residences fed of the transformer??

Also the readings at this residence shows a fundamental of 101.1 amp and few harmonics given a total Rms current at this residence of 103.44 amp.

Can the load current be less than the reading of 103.44 shown above????
