The dryers for a laundromat will be stacked one on top of another. The manuf states that each dryers is to be fed by a 120V, 15A circuit but both dryers should be tied to a common trip C/B. There is one terminal point for both dryers, terminal has space for 2 hots, 2 neutrals and gnd.
Is it feasible to install the 2p, 15A c/b's have each circuit goto a 120V, 20A receptacle and have eack yoke of the receptacle fed from the different circuits. The reason for the receptacle is for the disconnecting means? Hope it is not too confusing.

Re: laundromat dryers

There's a question there, I'm sure, but I'm having trouble locating it.

Yes, you can pull a 14-3 to each receptacle, provided you put them on a two-pole 15A breaker. If you break the tab on the receptacle, then you have two circuits on a duplex receptacle. If you don't, well, you have a bang. :)

See 210.4.

thanks george, I was so busy getting all the details that I forgot the actual question, but your response is exactly what I was thinking of doing and mor eimportantly breaking that tab!
