Article 100 defines "equipment" but not "system"
Does anyone know how the NEC defines a "system" as it applies to Article 645?

645.1 – Scope.
This article covers equipment, power-supply wiring, equipment interconnecting wiring, and grounding of information technology equipment and systems, including terminal units, in an information technology equipment room.

Re: Equipment vs. Systems

If the NEC doesn't have to define a word or term for the application as described in the NEC, the literal definition or meaning would apply.

Without opening a dictionary, I would say "system" would mean a group of items, equipment, or methods necessary to complete an assembly or operation.
