What is a typical number I can use for engineering purposes (meaning - I don't have the fan in front of me to look at nameplate). Also are the fan/light combos almost always rated for a 60 watt bulb? Thanks.

It's not uncommon to see a ceiling fan light kit rated for up to four 60W lamps.

According to 2002 catalogue original Hunter 52" fan draws 150/60/30 at high/med/low. That is the highest draw they have. Light kits would be adittional. Worse case maybe 400 watts.

I have to agree, the most I'd put is 500W, but that's a stretch.

By the way, I'm glad to be back...

I just started a new job, and I have been out for 3 weeks. I miss you guys...
