Does anybody know where I can get some good info (explanation of) taps and tap rules. What is considered tapping and what the rules are. I have never been real clear on this subject.
Also, I am looking for a good explanation of shunts and shunt trips, how they work etc. Hope I'm not asking for too much here. |

The commentary in the NEC Handbook has some interesting info on taps (240)

Tap rules were covered in the first section this year in class and looking it back up for a refresher myself but anyways here you go hope this helps
