I have never installed a wall mounted light switch inside a clothes closet. I have known that the clothes fibers are flammable and I thought that was a good reason not to do this. Is their anything in the NEC anywhere that will support my reasoning? I know OC protection is not allowed in their but snap switches do create an internal spark that could possibly ignite the clothes?
Any thoughts?
Thanks
