Good day, I have a question about the buss and screws for a ITE panels which use a type BL breaker. Through out our plant we use ITE panels both 208/120 and 480/277. in a few of the panels the threads in the copper buss are stripped. the A and C phase look to be no big deal as one can just change out the fingers. but the b phase looks like one would have to take the panel apart. Is there a easier way to do this, Does ITE sell a self tapping screw. thanks Ted

Are you sure it's the buss or the screw?

I just installed several Siemens panels where maybe 2-3 factory screw threads were rounded over making you think the buss fingers were stripped out when you tightened it. I simply ran a 10-32 drill tap into the buss finger and borrowed a good screw from one of the other empty spaces.
