I need to do an inspection at several locations next week in Georgia. Just wondering if anyone in that area could let me know if you use PVC expansion fittings when rising out of the ground. Here is Ma we need to do it because of the frost we get.

From a new construction perspective, I imagine they have ground settlement issues just like most everywhere else.

Then probably no vertical soil displacement.
(If by no frost line you mean no part of the soil ever gets below freezing.)
In doubt, I looked it up... ;)

Apparently they do. But I have to wonder if they actually have frost heave problems.

Ummm... I don't believe they have a frost line in Georgia.

I think you would need to check with the local jurisdiction to see what is required.

I don't think you will see any frost heave problems in the southern part of the state. If you get to the Northern part of the state with higher elevation the weather is not even close to the same. It really does get cold in those north georgia mountains.
