    for power transformers what do these mean??

    KNAN/KNAF

    are these the same as ONAN - oil immersed, natural circulation, self cooled

    can someone attach where in code ...have to show supervisor thanks

    ONAN is Oil Natural Air Natural.
    In KNAN I think the K is the initial for the liquid. I seem to recall that it is a synthetic oil like Midel but I can't remember what it is called.
    Replacing the N with an F usually stands for Forced cooling.

    K - for insulating liquid with fire poin more than 330 degrees Celsius
