Our company has a customer that insists that we do their medium voltage work, mainly 4160 and being for now starter, cabling and
motor work. The problem is that we have almost no medium voltage experience (safety ,install or maintenance). Have tried to refuse.
May not be able to refuse. Does anyone have any suggestions as how to successfully proceed with this work. Any advice would be greatly
appreciated.

You are smart not to claim that you know something about a subject that you do not.
If there is a way to hire someone on a temerary assignment with that experience do so. Otherwise try to get someone who will subcontract for you who is versed in MV gear. It is your opportunity to start gettingso MV experience under your belt. To turn the work away you run the risk in introducing you customer to your competition. It may be time to do some creative thinking.
