I have two pieces of equipment, one is 440V 3 phase, 20 amp and the other is 115 V, 15 amp. Can the disconnects be mounted on the outside of an electrical cabinet that is part of another machine?

My best guess for a rejection from NEC would about have to be 110.3(B), a somewhat indirect approach compared to a direct approach citing specific code section that prohibits it, which I can't think of anything that directly prohibits it.
