Reading some things in 70e about grounding circuits when doing electric work . We work no higher than 480 volt and though lock out tag out was enough. When should we think about using a grounding system to bring are wires to ground ?
Also part of our ppe is leather work shoes EH rated when should dielectric foot wear be used ?
If someone can help in this area , thank you.

You should look into some formal 70E training. In order to be a qualified, employees need to know how to select, and use, appropriate PPE.

Safety grounds and dielectric footwear are not requirements at 480V maximum.
