As a small community, I do not have available NFPA 20 for fire pump installation. The NEC states that an additional service can be provided in accordance with 230.2 but does that mean it has to have a separate service for NFPA 20. Can it be connected to the main distribution panel for the building? Additionally, can any other circuits be run inside the conduit serving the fire pump. It appears that NEC 695.4 prohibits any other branch circuits or feeders to share the same conduit assembly. Am I missing something and is there more to NFPA 20 that I need to be looking for on the installation. I inspect 1 of these every 10 years or so. thanks for the guidance.
