Need to replace T 8 24" under cabinet fixture. The present fixture is hardwired using the switch on the fixture. One downside to LED tape lights is hiding the driver. What are your recommendations ?

The fact that you have a direct feed gives you limited options. I've seen drivers installed both under and inside of cabinets, and both looked terriible. I think your best bet is what has been recommended, an all inclusive replacement led undercab fixture with integrated switch. The only way to do a light tape, IMO, would be to use the existing light feed for a new switch feed, snake a new switch leg into the basement, install the driver down there, and snake a new driver load from there to the cabinet. A half hour and 100 bucks or so for a new light seems like the better way to go to me.
