    USE For Light Poles

I am looking at a small lighting pole job and they ask for USE to be used for all wire underground in conduits for all light poles. I have never come across USE used for wiring to light poles. For a service yes. Any thoughts.

    Hope everyone enjoyed the holiday.

    Thanks.

Sounds good just make sure to carry the added costs and size the raceways larger.

Keep in mind straight USE cannot enter the building, get some dule rated USE / RHW condutors so you can bring it inside.

Wow so you have seen USE run in duct banks from handhole to handhole for light poles?

    Thanks for your insight.

No, not for light poles but I have used a lot of the dual rated for PV arrays.
