EM &a exit lights

If you had a few 2x2's fed from em panel and close by( about 5' away) you had exit lights fed from a different em panel would you combine the branch circuits in the same raceway(if it was a pipe job) or would you run separate conduit for the em lights and exits. Assuming they are (1) ckt each. Thanks

I would keep them separate to make it idiot proof.


Would it be installed that way? If you had 2 long corridors say about 100' each and em fixtures and exits in these corridors and emergency had to be in emt you'd be doubling th amount of pipe.

For 100' runs I'm might inclined to combine them in one raceway.

Good question maybe GD will tell us.
I misread the post as suggesting em and non-em in the same raceway, not two em circuits from different panels.
However from a design viewpoint, the common raceway defeats some of the redundancy and robustness afforded by the use of feeds from separate panels.
