Im getting a little confused on the minimum number of receptacles required for an island counter with a sink. On the attached, im showing 3 receptacles. Im looking to delete either the one on the left, or the one on the right. Would this be acceptable?

There is no backsplash, just basically cabinets with a counter on top which sits on a knee wall.

Thanks!

I think that if you move the one that is on the center a bit further to the left, so that it is clearly on the left side of the sink (as viewed from your sketch), then I think it can count as the one that is required on that side of the sink. Thus, you can delete the one on the far left. You have to meet the other rules, such as the six inch overhang and the 12 inches below countertop.

Looks like the area behind the sink is more than 12" so you only need one receptacle.
