Hello,

I have a Zinsco Main Breaker at the Meter and a 100A sub-panel on his house. The site is a couple hours from my house and I've never opened the dead front of this load center.

1) Is this breaker easy to find?

2) Is this a 125A Main Panel?

3) Refresher on the 120% rule = 125A Main * 1.2 = 150A - 100A main Breaker = 50 Amp for Solar.

Thanks,

Hello,

1) Is this breaker easy to find?

Not that I am in the business of working on Zinsco panels. The most I will do is pop a UBIZ breaker into a panel if I don't have to touch anything else. And I use careful judgement on that.

2) Is this a 125A Main Panel?

Can't tell for sure without seeing the label, but it seems likely.

3) Refresher on the 120% rule = 125A Main * 1.2 = 150A - 100A main Breaker = 50 Amp for Solar.

Yes, but you'd have to downsize the main for that.
