I cannot find in the code where you are required to mark a PVC j box that is in an area of a parking lot that contains the circuitry for the parking lights.
It seems like I found code that required this about 5 years ago, but caonnot find it now. IE--that a label should be installed on the cover of the PVC j box that identifies the enclosed conductors as 480 volt. Thanks in advance for any help.

There is nothing in the NEC that requires the handhole enclosure to be marked with the voltage but 314.30(D) does require that a handhole enclosure cover have an identifying mark or logo that prominently identifies the funtion of the enclosure, such as "electric".
