I assume it's the one you're talking about Randy? If so, it's sweet, no doubt about it. We got ours a couple years ago, and everybody tries to take it anytime we have some crimping to do, rather than using the older manual crimpers we have.

First off, you resurected a quote from me from 2 months ago, so I have no idea what this thread is even about aside from your quote and response. However, based on these items, it is about misinforming a customer for the sake of profit. That's what my original posting was about. If you don't like that, then you shouldn't have quoted me. The original posting wasn't directed at you.

I did not even see the date you first posted that, and generally do not pay attention to dates of any posts.

Does everything you say have an expiration date? If so maybe you should put a footnote with disclaimer on every post or somehow arrange that your posts just disappear once they expire.

i wish. that puppy is almost $4k. don't lose it anywhere.

i'm looking at a little hydraulic one that uses dies... goes up to 600mcm copper, 350mcm alum.
cute little thing, $1,200.

We just rent the tool from our supply house. They invoice us for $3K when we pick it up and the credit us back our $$ when we return it.

Total rent is $75 for the use of it. We do this 5 or 6 times a year so it would take a long time to pay off buying one.
