Has anyone ever used any westinghouse breakers in a federal pacific panelboard. I have a project with a FP panelboard and my vendor is telling me they sell westinghouse for these.

I don't think they fit. I would throw this panel in the garbage.

I remember back late 70's, early 80's, some private labeling of bolt-on breakers between FPE and Westinghouse was going on. Depending on the type of panel and breakers, factory built panels could have one or the other.Originally Posted by shaw0486

Hard work never hurt anyone....but why risk it
We went around the area and replaced FPE breakers that were subject to recall back in the 80s ?? We replaced them with Westinghouse.

UL letter to Westinghouse/C-H for breaker replacements. Now this letter doesn't include clasified breakers that they offer.
These are the C-H classified breakers. This is all I got.
