I have a simple question;
When doing 3 phase panel schedule, we list load description, OCPD size, conductor size and kva rating of the each load.
Question: If load is continuous do we multiply this by 1.25 or this table for just name plate rating kva's.
I know for feeder conductor sizing; 1.25 for continuous, plus noncontinuous (apply DF if any) etc. I got that part.
My question is just what is this kva on a package schedule? And what is it used for? if sizing feeder conductor that I will use above calculation, if not for feeder sizing than why engineering packages includes this on the submittal packages?
Thanks
