Um, yes it is, the utilities own the spent fuel storage facilities and the costs to build and maintan those facilities is part of thier operating costs and determines your rates.The cost of spent nuclear is not shown in the KWH of your Bill, never called out but already exists...

Solar? Really? Not even close to being a viable solution. Like it or not, nuclear is our best answer for now, until we figure out something better. Likely that will be fission.
