Do you think that running low voltage computer and phone lines down the same stud of a 10' wall is a problem as long as the home runs are a few feet apart?
No. These cables are commonly installed together in the same bundle, conduit or j box.
Please cite the code rule that says that. I don't think the rules in 725.136 require any seperation in this case. There may be interference issues, but I don't see a code issue.If the low voltage is power limited, it must be separated from non-power limited by 2 inches, unless the power limited conductors are rated for the same voltage as the non-power limited conductors.
