Historically in the past we have specified romex style wire #2 2 conductor with ground for residential attic environments for a 15 kw electric furnace from the breaker panel to the disconnect. Romex style wire is not currently availiable for this project. Our electrician has suggested using tray cabel wire in a #2 3 conductor with ground configeration as a replacement. Is tray cable wire UL or NFPA approved for this attic residential application and if it is approved where can this information be obtained? Thanks in advance, Joseph
