Will ballasts last longer if connected to circuit with its own neutral

I used to work with a guy that had the theory they did. Now i work in a place that doesn't allow sharing of neutrals.

The best way to improve life of the ballasts is to not open any neutrals under load.

You can run separate neutrals to everything and still have a bad situation if a service or feeder neutral becomes open.

This works only when you use oxygen-free, gold-plated, purple and gray insulated silver conductors and run them in titanium conduit (RMC) with no more than 3.141592 bends between boxes. You can get this stuff at any high-end audio store, ask to see the manager in charge of installations for derivative fund managers. It works better if the conduit run is aligned with magnetic north.;)
