Any chance for a quick answer Comercial/Medical bldg. but by shipping dock. I have all your 2008 cds but under the gun to look at em ... I have a 75Kva (480v-208v) transformer 10ft in the air above a dropped ceiling, the secondary lands in a 200 amp Overcurrent Device . I put a Fused disconnect same height. It is fed from a Electrical vault that is about 45 ft away but out of site of the Transformer There is no rule against that is there? The disconnect is for transformer maintenance right?

The primary conductors need a disconnecting means or no disconnect and a sign at the transformer stating where the feeder originates. The secondary conductors require protection found in Article 240. Transformers larger than 50 kva are not permitted above hung ceilings. {450.13(B)}
