A "potential" customer mentioned he had a few bulbs out in the back...
In the back is a warehouse with high bay lighting.
Two fixtures where/are out.
The employee said they would flicker then come on or not. (not sure if after on they would flicker and off?)
As I was leaving he mentioned others in that row do the same thing.
Questioning, and I could be bonkers, but I think I remember reading that hid bulbs have a couple of parts, so rather than the bulb being good or bad and working or not, it may be on the way out and working till it fails.
Is this true?
Reason I ask is I'm thinking about taking a known working bulb from an existing working fixture and trying them in the two before I replace fixtures..
