    Hazard classification

NEC 2014 HANDBOOK Art 500 Exhibit 500.1 shows an area classification drawing. Where in the code are the distances described?
    Thanks for the help

With the exception of installations covered by Articles 510 through 516, the distances/dimensions aren't specified in the NEC. Several reference Standards are listed in Section 500.4(B) Informational Notes(IN); especially IN No.2.

Since you didn't originally post this in the Hazardous (Classified) Locations forum I missed it. I am however stunned that several of the members that viewed this post before I did, didn't answer it.
