The panel I saw in the link was MLO with no mention of a GFCI.

Lowes is good at wrong/missing/misleading info on some of their products.
If you look at the model #BR50SPA, that tells you:
BR=BR type
50=50A
SPA=well...SPA:)

Also, look at the reviews & questions asked. They mention the GFCI there.

But I know it has the GFCI because, as I said, I use them all the time.
It is true that it is a MLO panel. It just happens to have the branch OCPD (50A GFCI) already installed.

Only if you need/can use a BR series GFCI breaker:p Existing panel that isn't interchangeable 1 inch wide breakers and code doesn't even matter, it will not work - without some modifications anyway.

I had a sneaky feeling someone would mention having to have a BR panel to be able to use the GFCI if you took it out. I think most would know what I meant though!;)

I know what you meant, but I don't run into BR series panels all that often so it doesn't really do me much good. I do see that same spa panel often though.
