    Multi ground wire splice

    I have a pvc box with 6-8 #12 ground thhn wires that I need to splice what's the best way to do this. Also this jbox is outdoors

    There is no twist-on connector listed for 8 #12 so your best best is to use a small ground bar kit. It's definitely better than trying to splice that many wires under a twist-on connector anyway, even if you could do it.

    I agree w/ Peter d about a bar.

    But if you insist on using wire nuts, you could use a couple of the Dryconn blues with a jumper between them (IIRC those max out at 4 or 5 #12s per unit).

    afaik, the largest wire nut is rated for 5 #12s. Some are rated for 5 #10s, tho there is no translation for if or how many #12s it could hold.

    I would use zinc, copper or brass. Just don't use aluminum.

    Every outdoor panel has a bar -- they don't need to be outdoor rated. Just pick up a ground bar from your supplier

    It's not a panel board it's just a PVC enclosure J box
