Okay Another parts question.

My associate used to work at a refinery and he said that many boxes are vented with a unique fitting that I've never seen maybe someone can help me specified.
It goes in a half inch knockout it's got a locknut.
it's just a hole like a Chase nipple I guess with the screen in it that let you vent an enclosure without letting bugs in it.
And it's easy to put into an enclosure.
Anyone ever heard of something like that?

Sounds like you are talking about a "Drain", or a "Breather".

Back when I did instrument fitting we had those, NPT male threads and an integral screen, all stainless steal........never had to buy them myself though.
