Does anyone have a great way to mark cables in Christy boxes that will last? Other than stamping a brass tag and hanging it from a cable, most methods do not seem to have much longevity.

Have you used it? Do the SS or AL bands have sharp edges?
I've used an old version, not sure if it was Dymo/Rhino brand or not. Labeled a bunch of power plant cables using 'em.

I've never been cut by a label nor seen a label cut anything. There is some degree of "sharpness" especially on the trimmed leading and trailing ends, but don't recall it being a major issue. Probably been over ten years since I had my hands on one.

Clear heat shrink over wire makers works well. If you are printing your own wire makers use the largest font possible.
