Hello,

I am a Ham Radio operator and I am constructing my first tower. I am looking for information on the proper way to ground the tower. The tower will be 40ish feet tall and in a concrete base.

The tower is secured at the second section to the roof fascia.

I am reading to install 3 grounding rods around the tower and connect each rod to a leg of the tower and them connect all three rods with a #6 copper wire around the tower base. The tower will be 20' from the house electrical panel and that ground rod.

Do I need to connect the 3 tower ground rods to the house grounding rod?
