That no one offered an explanation to the previous post does not surprise me, it was a strange problem. Though it may just be that the question was buried in this thread. Believe changes to transformer ground/bond fixed this, though the details of the effects are unknown to me.

Here is one I considered counter intuitive.. The effect of a blower/fan motor current when a duct damper is closed? Troubleshooting as an apprentice years ago, I had expected an increase. Once it was explained to me that the motor load was reduced since it was no longer doing the work, (moving air), it was totally logical, (and proven to my own eyes). But it had also erroneously seemed logical that the motor would have met more resistance, and increased the current.
