Wires/cables type at fuel stations

Please help regarding recommended cable or wires types approved by NEC at fuel station and if we can use THHN type or not? code reference please

If outdoors you need THWN, but you likely are going to have a conductor that has multiple ratings.

Most (maybe all) THHN/THWN conductors are also gasoline and oil resistant - I believe the outer nylon jacket gives them that rating.

Code doesn't specify single conductor types for fueling stations. It only specifies raceway wiring methods. Article 514, for the most part, refers one to Article 501 wiring methods, as applicable.

This is more of a sealing question for raceways.
Article 514 'Motor Fuel Dispensing Facilities" focuses on this area, however the general requirements for the wiring in Class 1 areas is referenced in Article 501.
These facilities often have more than one location requirement, and therefore will also reflect element of Article 510 and 511.

Depending on the wiring requirements of the area classification, per Article 501.10, often RMC and/or Type MI cable maybe used.
