What do you guys think of this? What if I moved my house hvac, dryer, and a few thing that draw the majority of power over to a subpanel. I would intercept that subpanel with an automatic transfer switch similar to what I use for standby generators. Except that I have a PV with power wall system hooked up to the typical line side of the switch and the "grid" side feeding the subpanel hooked up to the typical generator side. Would this work? When the PV system and powerwall can no longer provide enough for the air conditioning, the system would switch over to grid power. Do I use a typical gridtie inverter? I dont know, just an idea i had today.

I think if this system were to work it wouldnt require permits, roof load calculations, or utility company interferance.
