    Everyone: My question is not only 20A needs to apply but also HP rating of the disconnect oer nec 430.110. It mentions HP as well. Is that correct?

    I would look at it is an appliance and not a motor and use the manufacturers specs as central heating equipment is mentioned in 422.12.

    Yea but heating is gas but has fan to draw air in and to distribute it in duct part of indoor outdoor unit. Outsoor is ac electric.. So your saying indoor gas heater is loke space heater deal and not fan motor/blower?

    Is it listed as an appliance? If it is, meet the conditions in 422.31(A) through (C) for the disconnecting means.

    It is listed as HVAC has gas indoor for heatong and electric outdoor for air conditioning.

    Typo. It is listed as HVAC. Uses gas furnace with indoor units with fans to distribute air in duct for public storage and has outdoor units condensing units for air conditioning.
